Space Race by Emortal982 Space Race by Emortal982
Its not often that I decide to create random vehicles, and that was the exact inspiration for this piece. I wanted to do something different from my usual work. The viewpoint doesn't give you a full sense of the bike's design (which was done seperately but not uploaded), but I was more interested a making an interesting piece than I was with showing off a random vehicle design. Almost everything here was drawn up by hand in photoshop over the course of 2 days. The sky was taken from a photo I shot after a heavy rain, and a few of the distant buildings were taken out of a skyline and tossed into the background. It was a fun piece to play around with, and I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to let me know what you think.

It's awesome !!! It reminds me of Star Wars, even if the background isn't the same ! :D

Wow =D

I don't know if you played it, but this picture reminds me of the opening in Star Fox, when you had to leave the mother Fox ship to go after the enemies. It gives me the same sensation of movement.

I've played a few star fox games...mainly the first one on SNES and the "Rumble Pak" one that was on 64. I don't remember the games vividly enough to know the specific scene, but i can relate to the connection. In a number of ways it reminds me of F-Zero or that playstation game wipeout (??? i think that was it) Thanks for commenting :)
